How Do I Create My Vinyl Record?

1. Upload Your Front & Back Cover: Start the process by uploading the images you'd like to use for your custom vinyls front and back cover.

2. Upload Your Disc Images / Stickers: Next upload the images you'd like for the Side A & Side B center labels, or 'stickers' on your custom vinyl record.

3. Add Your Songs: Then add your songs; you'll be given two options when doing so, (1) simply type in the name of any song(s) found on streaming services such as Spotify & Apple Music or (2) you can either upload your own audio files and the SPYN Team will download the audio files for you and have them cut onto your custom vinyl record.

4. Add Your Extras - Finally, we move to adding extras. We highly recommend all customers purchase priority processing if they are getting their records as a gift and/or have a in deadline in mind to receive their record. We also offer audio mastering to ensure the sound quality of your record has the highest fidelity possible.
Can I Use Personal Audio Files for My Vinyl?

Yes! We can use personal recordings and audio from well-known streaming services such as YouTube, SoundCloud, or Apple Music.

How to use personal recordings for your vinyl:

  1. Create your record as usual: choose cover photos, stickers, and songs. For each track name, type “Uploaded.” Each side can include up to 20 minutes of audio.
  2. Upload your audio files under the “Audio File (if needed)” section.
  3. If you run into issues uploading, email the files to support@shopspyn.com with the subject line “Personal Audio.” Include your order number so we can match the files and confirm everything checks out.
Is My Photo Good Enough?

Yes! If you follow these photo guidelines, your image is very likely good enough to use:


• Take the photo in good lighting (outdoor daylight works best).
• Make sure the photo is clear and not blurry.
• Ensure that no important elements are cut off — we can’t add what isn’t in the original photo.
• Use a high-resolution image so it prints sharply on your cover or stickers.
When will I get my order?

We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Due to the demand, orders are being processed in chronological order.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.

Average turnaround time outside of major holidays is around 2-3 weeks.
What is the return policy?

Due to their personalized nature, custom items are non-returnable. However, our goal is for every customer to be completely satisfied with their purchase. If that’s not the case, please reach out and we’ll do our best to make it right.
What About the Playability?

These records don’t always play perfectly on every turntable, especially on cheaper ones without a weighted tonearm. A lighter tonearm weight and neutral anti-skating usually work best. If your record sounds weird or scratchy, the needle probably isn’t sitting in the groove correctly. Just give it a gentle nudge back into place and you’ll be good to go.
